Nuuna Calendar Poster – August to September 2024
Concept Design – Not Selected for Final Use
This calendar poster was developed as part of a conceptual design project for Nuuna, a brand known for its fun, character-driven identity. The aim was to create a visually engaging layout that not only communicated the dates effectively but also reflected the cheerful and approachable nature of the brand through illustrated characters, vibrant color schemes, and playful typography. The design features Nuuna’s signature yellow and purple palette, combined with hand-drawn elements to enhance personality and appeal. The characters are used to bring life to the calendar while emphasizing key dates. Although the design was ultimately not selected for production, it represents my ability to translate brand values into creative visual solutions. I included this project in my portfolio as an example of my strengths in brand-aligned illustration, layout design, and conceptual thinking. It showcases how I can carry a project from initial brief to polished presentation, even in speculative or exploratory design contexts.Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

Title Design – Diploma Animation Project
This hand-drawn-style logo was created as the title graphic for my short animation project, “Nenek & Haikal,” developed during my diploma studies. The design reflects the playful and nostalgic tone of the story, with bold, colorful lettering and a scribble-textured aesthetic that evokes childhood creativity and warmth. The contrasting colors and 3D-like shadows give the text a lively, dynamic feel while maintaining legibility and a strong visual presence. A stylized ampersand and dashed-line sticker cutout effect add a fun, animated vibe, aligning with the lighthearted themes of the project. WISE Program Jersey – Media Design Role
Event Apparel Design – STEM Program Branding
This jersey was designed for the WISE (Women in Science and Engineering) program held at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), where I contributed as a media designer and event crew member. Inspired by the theme of empowering women in STEM, the design integrates scientific icons with a bold geometric burst, symbolizing energy, innovation, and growth. The two-tone pink palette reflects femininity and strength, while science-related illustrations, like DNA strands, lab equipment, and atoms, highlight the program's academic focus. Logos from UTHM and MySTEM are prominently placed, establishing credibility and institutional support. The word “WISE” on the front and the university name on the back ensure strong visual recognition during the event. This project demonstrates my ability to interpret a program’s theme into a meaningful visual identity for apparel, combining symbolic graphics, color theory, and functional design for participants to wear with pride.Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

Nirmala – 3D Character and Prop Design
Autodesk Maya – Diploma Assignment Project
This 3D character model, named “Nirmala,” was created from scratch as part of a diploma-level assignment to showcase traditional Malay aesthetics through modern digital art. The design emphasizes cultural identity, with Nirmala dressed in attire inspired by Puteri Perak, a traditional royal figure. The outfit features a modern interpretation of the classic Baju Melayu, paired with a formal songket-patterned sampin, a bold red sash, reflecting grace, strength and heritage. To enrich the cultural storytelling, I also modeled two symbolic prop which are the “Cucuk Sanggul” (ornamental hairpin) and the “Keris” (ceremonial dagger). These elements were designed separately and integrated into the final model to reflect traditional Malay womanhood and warrior symbolism. The Cucuk Sanggul features a stylized floral-inspired crown, while the Keris includes both twisted and straight blade variations, demonstrating craftsmanship and versatility. The project allowed me to explore character anatomy, traditional costume styling and hard-surface modeling. Lighting and rendering were kept minimal to highlight the character’s silhouette, attire and intricate accessories.Tools Used: Autodesk Maya

"Reimagining Crivelli’s Madonna and Child: A Personal Devotional Portrait"
Natasha and Husband Digital Painting – Academic Project
This digital painting is a reinterpretation of Carlo Crivelli’s "Madonna and Child", guided by an assignment to modernize a classical religious work. While Crivelli depicted the sacred bond between the Virgin Mary and the Christ Child, I re-envisioned the theme by centering it around a future, deeply personal relationship between myself (Natasha) and my imagined future husband. Inspired by the gentle intimacy and divine serenity of Crivelli’s original, I maintained the nurturing posture and solemn tone, but shifted the narrative from maternal to romantic love. The composition replaces the infant with a resting male partner, cradled peacefully in a symbolic act of love, comfort and protection. The modest white garments allude to purity and commitment, while the golden background evokes sanctity and timelessness, echoing Crivelli’s devotional iconography. While the original features intricate textures and abundant symbolism like fruits and textiles, my version simplifies the background with organic motifs such as leaves and flowers to express growth and shared life. This reinterpretation bridges classical religious themes with modern emotional storytelling.Medium: Digital

Fluffy Tiger – Digital Illustration
Photoshop – Maybank Digital Art Contest Submission
This digital illustration, titled Fluffy Tiger, was created as a heartfelt response to the Maybank Digital Art Contest, themed around Harimau Malaya. Although it wasn’t selected, I chose to include it in my portfolio for its symbolic representation of national pride and environmental responsibility. The artwork features the head of a baby Malayan tiger, softly cradled in two human hands. This visual metaphor highlights the role of Malaysians in nurturing and safeguarding their national animal, conveying a deep sense of care, unity and cultural identity. The tiger's innocent gaze and fluffy fur were deliberately rendered to evoke empathy and a protective instinct from the viewer. A stylized background composed of traditional Malaysian motifs frames the central subject, grounding the composition in local heritage. The bold floral patterns serve to emphasize the tiger’s importance not just as a symbol of strength but as a living entity worthy of compassion and preservation. This project allowed me to experiment with digital texture rendering, symbolism and cultural integration in visual storytelling.Medium: Digital
